Sometimes a diamond, sometime a stone.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. As for my family and me we enjoyed the celebration of the great birth of our savior Jesus Christ but our hearts are sad. First my wife's uncle passed away right after Christmas, I got pneumonia, the on Jan. 5, 2008 my wife's precious father passed away. They were both Christians but oh how we are going to miss them! My wife's father was more than just a father-in-law to me. He was a wonderful friend and a great grandfather to my children when they were growing up. My oldest son is 32 and his wife is going to have twins and it is so sad that he will not get to see them in this life.
1 Thes. 4:13-18
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
In this scripture Paul the apostle writes to the church that we do not have to sorrow as others who have no hope but we have hope know that: 2 Cor. 5:8
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
That tells us that if we are a christian when we die our soul and spirit goes to be with the Lord. Verse 14 of 1 Thess. says that those whose's body is dead or as the King James says asleep God will give them to Jesus to bring back with him to get the living christians, not those in word only professing to be a christian but those who are really born again or as the Greek trans. says born from above will be caught up in the air but the dead in Christ will rise first. It says to comfort one another with these words. If you get read this blog, please pray for my mother-in-law and my wife. They know my father-in-law is with the Lord but christian or not when you lose a loved one your heart breaks but God gives us grace and love and we that are christians should help the broken hearted and pray for them.
I have been a christian and minister for over 35 years and over this time I have seen a great falling away of love in the church. When I say church I don't mean a certain denomination. I mean the blood bought, redeemed by the blood, truly repented, God fearing, loving their fellow man and following the words of Jesus the best they know how kind!!!!!!!!!!!
James 1:23-25
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Here we read what James says about being a doer not just a hearer of the word of God! Also it tells us what real religion is. It is not what most people believe. He tells us to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction: which means-problems, trials, or anything that brings a bad time, loss of monetary funds, death in the family or just plain feeling down. Christian friend we have got to get back to loving our neighbor as our self. In our neighborhoods a person can die and the whole neighborhood will not know it and what is worse is a lot of people who go to church with you don't even know it or some don't even care. But thank God for those precious few that pray for us, come to see us and pray for us, love us when we are unlovable or going through a hard time but most of all for Jesus, God's dear son who loves us with so much love that in John 3:16 we read that God was will to send His only begotten son to this sin ridden world to die on an old rugged cross, to be beat so bad he could not be recognized, and after 3 days and nights in the tomb He rose again in victory to give eternal life to all those who will repent and believe on Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior and to follow Him and His word:
John 3:1-21
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
My prayer for anyone that reads this blog is that you will get to know Jesus Christ. He is real! In the late 60's and early 70's I was a drug addict, alcoholic, agnostic and by Oct. of 1972 I was ready to take my own life. But thanks be to God and Jesus Christ through His Holy Spirit at 7:45 on Oct. 21, 1972, Jesus Christ came to my rescue, set me free from drugs, alcohol and is still making me free from the things of this world that keep us from getting closer to God. When we say we are saved or a christian we don't mean we are perfect but that God has saved us by His grace not by our works or what we have done but what Christ done on the cross:
Romans 3:24
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 4:16
Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Romans 6:14-15
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Romans 11:5-6
Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Galatians 2:21
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Ephes. 1:6-7
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Ephes. 2:5
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Ephes. 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Paul the apostle to the gentile church wrote these scriptures to let them know that Christ fulfilled the law of the old testament and that Christ had given us a new covenant and that we are first saved by the grace of God through Jesus Christ. Our works come after salvation but they won't save you unless you repent and follow Christ. Our first love is God and His son Jesus Christ then the next love is our fellow man. Matthew 5:43-44
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;Matthew 5:46
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Matthew 19:19
Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.Matthew 22:37
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.Matthew 22:39
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There are many many more scriptures about loving God, Jesus and our fellow man. So we should examine ourselves to see if we are being taking in by the prosperity gospel or the gospel of Christ which is love. Remember, the love of money is the root of all evil. Not that money is evil but lusting on it above loving God or your neighbor.
May God bless each and everyone of you and if you are struggling with problems just remember we all have to carry a cross and if you are going to serve Christ you will suffer persecution and you are in a battle with satan. Good news! We win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware of false prophets!!!!
There are so many ministers and false prophets in the world today that many people are deceived before they know it. So how can we tell if it is the real thing. Jesus said:
Matthew 5:43-44
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;Matthew 5:46
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Matthew 6:5
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (or money)
Matthew 19:19
Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:37
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:39
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mark 12:30-31
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.Luke 16:13
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Luke 20:46
Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.John 15:12-13
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.John 15:17
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
These are the ways that you can tell if a minister or ministry is truly of God. Some of the Ministers on T.V. live in 1 or 2 million dollar homes! That is not what Jesus said we were to do with the blessings He gives us. They also make one half a million or one or two million dollars in salary while there are millions who don't even have a home or something to eat. I'm not saying that God won't bless us when we obey and live according to His word but to live like they do is wrong! Let's look at what the Word of God says:
1 Tim. 6:9
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
1 Tim. 6:17
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
James 1:10-11
11But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
James 2:5-6
Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
James 5:1
Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
So we see that the Word of God has a warning for the rich and that we are not to strive to be rich in money but in grace, truth and love. If these ministers or ministries were doing right they would seek out those that are hungry, without a home or job and help them in this life. It is not enough to just pray for the poor and homeless but we need to more like Jesus.
James 2:14-20
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
What can a human do with all that money? If we can't help those that are right around us, then how is a lost world full of hate already going to see Christ in us. They get on radio and T.V. begging for more money or we are going off the air or we won't be able to feed the orphans we sponsor. With the amount of money they receive they could give plenty. God is going to judge all who misuse the funds meant to minister to the lost, hungry and dying. I pray that some of these ministers would change and let the love of God touch their heart and release some of money they are storing up on earth. We all can be a light if we want to be.
Some of these preachers are just phonies! They say they are propheying and all they are doing is false prophecy just to get money from christians that don't know any better. We should always check out who we support and find out what they are doing with the funds we send them. If love for God and man is not the heart of what they preach then they are not of God but of themselves.
I hope this message will help someone to be able and tell the true from the false. May God's wonderful grace and love be in your heart and if you don't know Jesus Christ as your savior please, ask Him into your life. You will never be the same or think the same. God will give you a new heart and love will be your greatest gift. Until my next blog God bless each and everyone of you.

Am I a christian or just religious?
In a world where millions take the title christian, what is the rule to go by to know if you really are a christian?
First we must know what Jesus Christ said. Not a religious denomination, or a world government or even what the pope in Rome says!
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
I am writing this out of love for mankind. Not to try and convince somebody that I am right or the church I attend is right but to try to let somebody know that will listen, to tap into the salvation that God suppiled through Jesus Christ. I am not out to get money, send you anything except the love that God has given me and that is also hard to get across. Please listen. Life is short. It could end for me tonight or you tomorrow and if there is a real after life, a real heaven and a real hell? Do you really want take a chance that there is not an after life? If there is no after life then you and I will be ok no matter what we believe or how we live. But if what Jesus Christ said and did, that is died on the cross and rose from the dead and is seated on the right hand of the Father waiting for you and I to accept Him as savior is true, we had better do something about our salvation here and now, because according to the Word of God there is no chance after death.
Seven "Except's"
1. Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish (Luke 13:1-5).
2. Except ye become converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:3).
3. Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3; 1 John 2:29; 1 John 3:8; 1 John 5:1-14,18).
4. Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God (John 3:5).
5. Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you (John 6:53).
John 6:53
a [Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.] 17th New Testament prophecy in John (John 6:53-54, being fulfilled and will be completely fulfilled in the resurrection, 1 Cor. 15:23,51-58; 1 Thes. 4:16-17). Next, § John 6:62. See note, § John 3:3.
John 6:54
a [eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood] Eating and drinking is used figuratively of partaking of the benefits of the death of Christ. We partake by faith and enjoy the benefits because God gives them on the basis of what Christ did for us (Ephes. 2:8-9; Romans 3:24-25; Romans 5:1-11; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 3:16; Acts 4:12; Acts 15:9; Acts 26:18; Galatians 2:16-20; Galatians 3:1-26; 1 Peter 1:5-13). Eating is used figuratively of partaking of spiritual food (1 Cor. 10:1-3); of other benefits received (Psalm 69:9; Ezekiel 2:8; Ezekiel 3:1-3; Rev. 10:9); and even of the evil results of sin (Proverbs 9:17; Hosea 10:13; James 5:3). No figure of speech was more common to Jews at this time, so there was no excuse for them to misunderstand His words. By comparing John 6:47-48 with John 6:53-54 we see that believing on Christ is the same as eating and drinking Him.
6. Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:20).
7. Except ye abide in me ... he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned (John 15:4-6).
b
[born again] Greek: gennethe (GSN-1080) anothen (GSN-509), be begotten from above (see note, § Luke 1:3, pt. 4). It literally means there must be a transformation from God and a renewal in righteousness and true holiness to be saved (2 Cor. 5:17-21; Ephes. 4:22-24; Col. 1:13-14,20; Col. 2:12-17; Col. 3:1-16).c
[see] Greek: eidon (GSN-1492), to see, not so much the mere act of looking, but the actual perception of the kingdom and its realities.I am going to quote from the King James and Todays English Version. Also I am going to give what some of the meanings of words and scripture in the Greek and also if necessary give the Hebrew meaning of the scripture so that it will be in the original language.
In a world of ripoffs, con-artist, crooked preachers, lying government officals and just a confusing world, it's no wonder people don't trust ministers, preacher or each other. So I am going to try and just give the word of God. You ask how can I trust the Bible or The Word of God? I can only tell you this. I have been a christian for over 34 years and it has not always been easy! I have also been a minister for over 34 years and I have had my heart broke, I have been physically tried (I have been in the hospital 28 times, been close to death 4 times, been told I would end up in a wheel chair, had 12 operations and I have hemochromatosis or IRON OVERLOAD which almost killed, crippled and caused me untold pain!), mentally tried by family, church (I have pastored four churches), work place, and just life! I am now 56 and about to turn 57 and I hope I have learned from all I have been through. We don't learn by having fun, the Bible says that Jesus learned by what He suffered.
Hebrews 5:8
Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
Hebrews 5:8
But even though he was God's Son, he learned through his sufferings to be obedient.
My wife and I will be married 34 years on July 14, 2007 and I love her more now than when we first got married. She stuck by me through the good times and the bad, through times of plenty and times of loss and times of being well and times of being very, very sick. God gave me an angle on earth to be my wife and best friend. We reared three children, two boys and one girl. All three are married with the oldest being 32 and the youngest 28. We have two beautiful grandchildren, one boy and one girl.
I started out early in sin. Drinking alcohol by 13, smoking tobacco at 12 and playing in a rock & roll band at the age of 13. That was in 1963. Getting drunk on the weekends was just a normal thing to do. How was my family life? Well, my parents were divorced by the time I was two because my dad was an alcoholic. It was not that he was mean or anything, he just couldn't keep a job and get drunk! My grandmother, who lived in North Carolina on a poor little farm, and she had been crippled by a drunk driver two years before she started keeping me, kept me until I was 10. I am so glad I learned that money isn't everything. We were dirt, dirt poor. No running water, no inside pluming or bathroom, heated with wood, cooked with wood. She was lucky to get 75.00 a month! But we had food. Why? Because we grew it in a two or three acre garden. How? A man lived with us and helped to plow with a mule all the garden and I had to help do everything. I started chopping wood at the age of four and plowing with a mule at the age of 7. I did not know that I was poor! I had 3 hound dogs, miles of hills and woods to play in and a grandmother who loved me! But life changes a lot. At the age of 9 my mother accepted Christ as her savior and that same year my dad and her got back together after 8 years of being divorced. In 1960 I started living with my parents in Ohio and the night I got to Ohio to live my father was saved by the grace of God in the bedroom of our homeplace in Ohio. From that day on he was a wonderful father and my hero here on earth. Both my parents have gone on to heaven now but they left a wonderful testimony. They tried to teach me the ways of Christ and His teachings. I also had 3 brothers and all of us were really hard to deal with in our own way. I went my own way for 12 years but on Oct. 21, 1973, God set me free from drug addiction, alcohol addiction, suicide and I recieved Jesus Christ as my savior! Glory be to God and to His son Jesus Christ for even taking time for such a sinner as I. Thank you Holy Spirit for convicting my heart of sin and coming into me and letting me be born again of the Spirit of God. It was a real experience and it didn't take weeks or months but about 5 minutes and I knew God had done something in my life. I changed overnight and I have been changing and growing in the Lord every since! Now I told that so that you would know that it was real in my life not just something I had read about.
Listen to what Jesus said about life:
Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 10:39
He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 16:25
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 18:8-9
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. 9And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.Matthew 19:16-17
And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Matthew 19:29
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
Matthew 20:28
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Matthew 25:46
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Mark 8:35
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Mark 9:45
And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Mark 10:17
And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
Luke 21:34
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
John 1:4
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 3:15-16
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 4:14
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 5:26
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
John 5:29
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
John 5:39
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
John 6:27
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
John 6:33
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
John 6:35

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Romans 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:17-18
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Romans 5:21
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:22-23
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Look at verse 23 of Romans 6. Our wages because of sin is death and I'm so glad it didn't stop there. But it says the gift, it is a gift, salvation is gift of God. It is there for the asking. But not just asking we have to be truly sorry for our sins and really repent. That means to turn and go another way:
»
Strong's Helpnacham,
Hebrew 5162, Strong'snacham,
naw-kham'; a primitive root; prop. to sigh, i.e. breathe strongly; by implication to be sorry, i.e. (in a favorable sense) to pity, console or (reflex.) rue; or (unfavorably) to avenge (oneself) :- comfort (self), ease [one's self], repent (-er, -ing, self).»
Strong's Helpmetanoeo,
Greek 3340, Strong'smetanoeo,
met-an-o-eh'-o; from Greek 3326 (meta) and Greek 3539 (noieo); to think differently or afterwards, i.e. reconsider (moral feel compunction) :- repent.»
Strong's Helpnoieo,
Greek 3539, Strong'snoieo,
noy-eh'-o; from Greek 3563 (nous); to exercise the mind (observe), i.e. (figurative) to comprehend, heed :- consider, perceive, think, understand. So we see in hebrew and the greek, that is the language that the Bible was translated from into all the different languages and english, that repent means to change the mind from what we thing to what God wants us to think. If you know anything at all about what the Bible says about God, it says that He is Love, He is righteous and that presents a problem for God. In His great love for us He wants to bless and give us eternal life and keep us on track here on earth so that we can live with Him forever in Heaven and in the new earth. But there is the sin problem and He had to do something about that. All those scriptures I listed on life tell that He sent His only son Jesus Christ and He was no ordinary man. He was the only begotten of the Father God, in other words He was a God man. He left the perfect place, Heaven and came to this sin ridden, cruel unforgiven world that was ruled by lucifer, just to be beat, swore at, run out of towns, and in the end tried in a court that was illegal, then nailed to an old rugged cross to die for the sins of this world and He lived a sinless life. Why did He choose to love us and endure such cruelty???????? Because of John 3:16. God love us so much that he defeated the devil in his own territory. By dying and rising from the dead Jesus paid the price or the wages where by we could be saved by accepted His salvation which came by Him shedding His blood and taking our place. No human was worthy to die in our place only God and Jesus was God the Son. We were never meant to die which is Adam & Eves fault because they chose to disobey 1 commandment. Eve lost faith in what her heavenly Father said and listened to what the enemy said. Then Adam, who was standing right there, took and ate the fruit that God said not to. The first sin was that Eve took upon herself to believe herself and what the devil said through the serpent rather than what God said. It was really Adam's fault because God told him to dress and keep the garden before He made Eve. He had the power to overcome that serpent and defeat satan but he chose to listen to his mate and disobey God. Isn't that what we are doing to day? Listening to what men and women are saying about God or that there is no God and man is his own God! Man has made a mess out of everything he has tried to do without God! We are in the last time and satan is growing stronger in people that let him!
Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 8:10
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Romans 8:38
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
I am going to stop here and just ask you to think about what God's word says and to pray to the real God. Not what the world says is God but our heavenly Father and ask Him what you should do. I am no better that anyone else and neither is any preacher or priest, pope not anyone. You can only go to God yourself. Pray to him. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins if you haven't already. There is no perfect people on this earth only redeemed and saved people. Not church people, religious people just redeemed by the blood of the lamb. Listen if Jesus isn't the way then we have no hope. All other ways to God is by some human making up a religion to try and enslave mankind or prove that they are right!
I know what Jesus did for me and is still doing. I have to try and live like He told me everyday and I fail many times. But He never fails me! He keeps on loving me even when I fall. All I have to do is ask Him to forgive me and help me on my way. Look. All God want is a willing heart, a open mind to His Holy Spirit, and that we repent and follow the Savior. Jesus never had a church, never had an alter call, never had a gospel band but He changed the earth forever and He can change you and me forever if we will let Him!
My prayer is that someone will read this and just go to our heavenly Father and ask Him if the Bible or the Word of God is true and to come into their heart and be born from above or as scripture says "be born again" and live this new, exciting and wonderful, hard, never boring life for God through Jesus Christ.
I have poured out my heart and soul because I love Jesus Christ and our Heavenly father. May God bless you and I will post more about living for God and what the word of God says for us today.

If problems were dimes!
How many times do we wonder how much we have to go through in order to get it right what God is trying to work out in our life?
Isaiah 43:2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
James 1:2-3
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:12-13
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
1 Peter 1:6
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
2 Peter 2:9
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
None of these scriptures say we will not go through trial but it says just the opposite. We do not learn from having a good time or from no resistance!
Hebrews 5:8
Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
This is talking about Christ! Yet in a lot of the T.V. ministry, christian books, and even in our churches we hear that if you are not getting rich by giving to that ministry or church you are not in the perfect will of God and that by speaking to the problem and having their so called faith, we will not have to even go through the problem. Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's look at what the word of God says:
1 Thes. 3:4For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
2 Thes. 1:5
Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
1 Tim. 4:10
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
2 Tim. 2:9
Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
2 Tim. 2:12
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
2 Tim. 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Hebrews 11:25
Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
These scriptures tell us that some of us will suffer affiction, persecution and that if we suffer, we will reign with him (Christ). How is it that we will suffer? Well if we are a bench warmer at church, never stand up for Jesus, only doing what we have to do or not even that, when we are put to the test and ask about our belief and we hem & haw around, of course we won't suffer at all. But if we stand up for Jesus and be bold about our salvation and let the world know we're Christians, not perfect but trying to serve the Lord, someone, especially the Devil, will not like it!
Children of the Lord "please" pray one for another. It is the end time. Not the last days, but the end time and the love of many is waxing cold! If you have no one to pray for please pray for me. I find that the closer I get to going home, that is older, the more the devil would like to take me down. Yes I tell people about Jesus and that He is the only way to God. Now some don't like that answer but in the book of Acts 4:12 it says:
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
What name? The name of Jesus Christ, The Word ie' Logos in greek, The divine being, the second person of the trinity that came down from heaven and became a man, the only true man-God, He was truly God and He was truly a man. He took on the body of a man so He could suffer and die on a cross, take our place because we are guilty of sin, take all the sins of the world so we can ask God through Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and he can because he was made sin in his flesh to bear the burden of sin, lived a perfect life, died on the cross but it does not end there. Over 500 people saw him after he arose on the 3rd day, many that slept in ground awoke in their bodies and were seen in Jerusalem, He went to Hell (paradise) and preached to the captives that were help against their will (those who served the Lord before the Grace of Jesus Christ could be applied to out soul), He preach the gospel of peace to them and brought them out of paradise and took them to heaven with Him. He now sits on the right hand of the father and He is making intersession for all who have believed on Him and Praise be to God you can be part of His kingdom if you ask Him to forgive you of your sins and really repent, and follow Jesus and do your best to obey His word. "GLORY"
So if you are a side line Christian then maybe your not really a christian at all? He said:
Luke 9:26
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
May the Holy Spirit check your soul and help us all to fall on our face and repent of our lack of boldness and help us all to get out and about and be about our Father's business. God help and bless us all.
